Key West, Florida is the southernmost city in the United States, just 90 miles from Cuba. It is the home to Key West International Airport and US route 1 either ends or begins in Key West, depending on the direction you are traveling in. Key West is a popular stop for cruise lines and tourism provides many employment opportunities. It is a deep sea fishing paradise and there are festivals and events going on all year long. There are many properties in Key Wet Florida that are suitable for vacation homes. And in a wide range of prices and styles. The condos are most unusual, with some of them actually being private houses. As for the single family homes, the range all the way up to the multi million dollar range.

Come down and check out Key West Florida and see if it fits your idea for the place for your vacation home. It is not an easy place to get to by car, with US Route 1 being the only way in or out, but the drive is beautiful through the entire chain of islands. On the other hand, it is an easy plane trip in or out of Miami or Houston. It is not a vacation home community where you can commute back and forth each day. But the property can easily be rented out for the time you do not use it and vacation homes can become permanent homes when it comes time to retire. Think of a vacation home here as an investment opportunity.
