Rye New York is in Westchester County. It is the home of Rye Playland, a major attraction for not only Westchester, but for the entire area, including New York City. Westchester is just north of the Bronx and an easy commute either for the amusement park, or to and from work. There is a Metro North station right in the city and for driving, Rye is near the New England Throughway, I-95 and is right on the Boston Post Road.

There are properties in Rye that are suitable for both vacation homes and year round living. The co ops and condos are unique in both town houses and converted apartment buildings and some of those buildings have to be seen to be believed. They are from a time when buildings were designed to be unique and picturesque. Think of a medieval castle and you will know what some of them look like.
