Travel down the Las Vegas strip and see famous hotel names that line Las Vegas Boulevard. At the tail end of The Strip is Circus Circus Hotel. Anytime day or night the Circus Circus Hotel is providing non-stop free entertainment viewable from anywhere in the main circus area. Look up and watch the flying trapeze act or catch a clown show. The atmosphere is loud and always crowded, but the entertainment is suitable for the entire family.
Head out doors and catch a variety of water fountain shows including the spectacular Caesars Palace exhibition. Also, the Bellagio Hotel has a wonderful water fountain show which combines water and light dancing to music. Bellagio also sports a Chocolate Fountain, the Cirque du Soleil Art Gallery, the Bellagio Botanical Gardens and the beautiful Bellagio Hotel Lobby.
Another free attraction with a tropical twist is the Hawaiian Marketplace also located on Las Vegas Blvd. The Marketplace is an 80,000 square foot, outdoor area with a shade above to keep visitors cool on warm days. The marketplace has an impressive nine anchor stores plus smaller vendors selling everything under the sun.
The Birdman of Las Vegas does several daily shows with his feathered friends. Hawaiian performers also perform luau dances that remind guests of the tropical islands. Food shops selling smoothies and other refreshing drinks and foods are abundant.
Las Vegas is known for glitter and bright lights, however, there is a different side to Vegas waiting to be explored. Spend some time browsing through history and several different locations that showcase memorabilia from the past. Check out all of these free locations. There's a great country music collection at Toby Keith's Bar and Grill. Harley memorabilia can be found at Harley-Davidson Cafe Las Vegas. Silverton Hotel has a showcase of Hootie and the Blowfish memorabilia. Planet Hollywood has movie memorabilia throughout the resort and casino. Each hotel room has a unique piece of Hollywood memorabilia. Hard Rock Cafe also boasts a large selection of rock memorabilia.
Las Vegas is more than just a town for gamblers. Now more than ever, the town is geared toward entire families. Las Vegas has something for every age group. The best thing is that most of the action is centrally located on the strip. A family can vacation on a shoestring budget and enjoy a day or a week of fun activities in Las Vegas.
