Rome is a popular destination for those wishing to undertake an adventure or others who may want to just kick back and relax. The city boasts of many historical monuments, shopping areas and romantic getaways. With the wide variety of choices, one really needs to plan ahead when traveling to Rome. It would be such a hassle if one needs to travel for over an hour just to experience the wonders that Rome offers its visitors. So the option is booking your accommodations in the City Centre of Rome. Do book ahead of time so that one is able to choose an affordable accommodation rather than taking last minute chances on hotel bookings.

The most popular tourist destinations are the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. Since both are located near the Stazione Termini and the underground Metro station, the sites are easily accessible and transferring to other sites would not be too troublesome. The most populous shopping haven can be found in Piazza di Spagna as it hosts many exclusive boutiques and charming cafes for the laid back traveler. The winding medieval roads exude a cosmopolitan feel which is surely addictive to the first time Romano visitor. One must not miss visiting the Spanish steps as the more famous areas are just a few steps away. The Villa Borghese, the Fontana di Trevi, the Via Margutta and the Piazza del Popolo are but some areas of the city that one should not miss when one visits.

For the pious visitor, the Vatican City, which is situated within Rome itself can be accessed with a long list of hotel accommodations one can avail of when seeing one of Christianity's most holy places.

For the tourist seeking peace and quiet, one can book a room in the city's outskirts. Bed and breakfast accommodations are also available for a traveler on a budget and yet still experience the rich culture of Rome.
