Vacationing in Stoneham, Canada

My favorite vacation spot in the world is Stoneham, Canada. This spot is a secluded resort that is fun for the whole family. There is snow everywhere and the mountains look beautiful. Stoneham is my favorite vacation spot in the world with its low rates, good food, small town atmosphere and skiing adventures for the whole family.

The town consists of one street lined with buildings. There is a ski lodge, restaurant, convenience store, and a hotel. If you bring your whole family there is something enjoyable for each member. If you have young children full of energy then the kids will enjoy skiing all day and certain mountains at night that have lights on facing the slope. The kids can also enjoy having some fun in the lodge while meeting and talking with other kids skiing on the mountain. Adults can get away from all the hassle of the everyday and relax in the quiet mountain surroundings. Adults might also enjoy a night out, away from the kids, and enjoy the four star restaurant at the end of the street. If you feel like taking a night away from skiing, then you can spend time in the city of Quebec which is close by.

You do not have to worry about buying your equipment. There is an extensive line of ski equipment on the first level of the lodge in the rental shop. There you can find everything you need, in all shapes and sizes, to ski during your vacation to Stoneham. Next to the rental shop you will find a dinning hall where you can save money by heating anything you might have brought to eat on your trip. In the dinning hall there are plenty of tables and chairs so do not be worried about not having a place to sit and enjoy yourself. On the second floor of the lodge is a cafeteria. Here you can find an arrangement of pizza, hamburgers with french fries, tacos, soft drinks, hot chocolate, coffee and poutine. Poutine is a Canadian dish consisting of French fries, gravy and cheese. You can find poutine everywhere in Canada from McDonalds to some very higher class restaurants. The cafeteria offers a beautiful view of the mountain with its four, thirty foot tall windows looking out at the mountain. Sometimes while you are watching outside you can see the eventual skier tumbling down the mountainside.

Each hotel room comes with a locker downstairs to hold each person's skiing equipment. The lockers have the same numbers as your room and also operate on the same keys and have the capacity to hold up to five peoples skiing equipment. A room in the hotel goes for a rate of $88.50 a night. Every guest at the hotel is able to access the computer workstation in the lobby, which is supplied with high-speed Internet access. Each guest is also given a daily newspaper at the front desk. The three-story hotel offers fifty-nine guestrooms and dogs are accepted in any room at an extra charge. Accommodations with one bed also have sofa beds, compact refrigerators, and cable TV.

Stoneham is a ski town full of fun and excitement for everyone. The hotels give you all the comforts of home for a great and affordable price. The lodge can supply you with all of your needs while visiting the town. I have a lot of fond memories from my time spent at Stoneham and I know that if you simply go there you will make many great memories for you and your whole family.
