Tussy
No red rose...

this Valentines,

for the apple of your eyes.

No heart-shaped balloons...

this Valentines,

for the light of your life.

No fancy dinner...

this Valentines,

for your patient wife.

No chocolate kisses...

this Valentines,

for the dear one.

Just the usual concerns...

even on Valentines,

of making ends meet.

Romance has to take...

the inferior seat,

behind the budget.

The budget should be the priority...

the way it has to be,

in the uncertain economy.
