Valentine Poem: What You've Given Me

KRM
I don't know how to even begin,
Like starting a new romance.
I fumble for the words to say
Jump in, and take a chance. . .
I want to tell you everything,
But words just fade away
And instead of the expression
I have too much to say.
I don't know how to just express
How full you've made my life
And how I came from nothing
To say goodbye to strife,
And all the things you did, love
You gave it all for free.
I can't begin to thank you
For what you've given me.
It's not been always easy.
I'm not the greatest man.
You loved me so completely
And as I take your hand,
I want you to understand
With everything I know,
I vow to always love you
And never let you go.
