The vodka's founder, Rifino Valentine, developed his Valentine Vodka after taking classes and working at other vodka distilleries. Valentine chose a vintage pinup girl for the bottle's logo and is proud to report that his vodka is produced entirely from local products.
Once open later this summer, people will be able to visit a storefront and sample the vodka before purchasing a bottle to take home. The distillery will be about 5,000 square feet and will be licensed in Michigan under the small distillery classification.
