Valentine's Day Conversation Hearts Graphs Instructions

1. Turn each piece of white construction paper into a Valentine's Day Conversation Hearts Graph by drawing straight lines between each color listed at the bottom of the page. Mark off ten boxes for each color.

2. Have your students open their Valentine's Day conversation hearts candy boxes.

3. Instruct your students to place hearts of each color in the appropriate slots on the graph. If you like, have them glue the conversation hearts on. Or you may choose to let them eat the Valentine's Day conversation hearts candies after the activity has been completed.

4. Instruct your students to add up how many Valentine's Day conversation hearts candies they have of each color.

5. Begin a discourse with your students. Who had the most pink Valentine's Day conversation hearts candies? Who had the fewest green candies? What is their favorite of the Valentine's Day conversation hearts candies colors?
