Valentine's Day Blues
I wish it would just past me by
Like the way it used to be
For this heart of mine keeps hurting
No matter how hard I try
The memories keep haunting me
I never thought this could happen
I should have seen it coming
But things just came so fast
They say that love is blind
And I say it's indeed blinding
'Coz it took everything in a blast
Year after year I struggle
To put those memories behind
So it would hurt no more
But the feeling's never gone
Every year, on Valentine's Day
It hurts even more
