Valentine's Day Breakfast Restaurants in New Jersey

Mom's Restaurant located in Ringoes, NJ in Hunterdon County. The restaurant is small and unassuming, and doesn't even accept credit cards, but the lines outside every Saturday and Sunday are a testament to the food and service. Located off Route 202 (on John Ringo Road), the restaurant is known for it's variety of pancakes, french toast, and omelettes. Coincidentally, it is my mother's favorite weekend breakfast joint as well.

Mariners Cove in Brielle, NJ. Located at 712 Union Ave. This breakfast joint serves large amounts of food for decent prices. They have an omelette menu featuring 200 different types of omelettes, but also serve items like crepes and bagels. Notably, unlike in a diner, the restaurant uses fresh fruits rather than pie filings. The original owners has since opened Amy's Omelette House not far away in Long Branch, NJ on Ocean Blvd. (in the Ursula Plaza). Amy's serves the same 200 option menu of omelettes.

Country Pancake House off of E Broad Street (located on E Ridgewood Ave.) in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Since the restaurant was featured on the travel channel's show Extreme Pig Outs, lines remain long on weekend mornings. The zagat rated restaurant serves enormous portions, heaps of breakfast food, very cheaply. One example of an item on their menu is an omelette made with 9 eggs.
