As homework, elementary kids should research how to say love in their chosen language.

Then provide students with supplies to make valentines. Help them cut the paper into hearts. They can use several different pieces of paper to decorate their heart shaped valentines. When they are done with the valentine, help students write their word on the center of the heart. Trace the word with glue and add the glitter.
