Have you not heard of Giovanni's Italian Cafe, they're in Mission Trace off of Hampden and Wadsworth, the owner is from Sicily and I have seen him on many occasions while I"ve eaten there. Olive Garden? Why? When you can have the real deal at Giovanni's!!!!!

Jeff's absolutely right. I was expecting at least a modicum of "taste" in an article about food & romance. Denver has much more to offer than crappy chain restaraunts--even in the same general price range; besides which, $30 on an appetizers-only meal at a decent place, or a picnic at home beats these places hands down!

How about Barolo Grill, Star (if it's still around), Sushi Den, Le central, or Panteleone's: there's a range of $$-$$$$ with just those few AND good food.
