Valentine's Day Fashion: Top 5 Looks to Encourage Love

Feel Great This Valentine's Day!

1. Look ravishing in red. This may sound obvious, but the reality is that there's a good way to wear red and there's definitely a bad way to wear red, especially when it comes to this season's Valentine's Day fashion. Deep red tones are generally always more flattering than stark red colours - you don't want to be looking like bull's eye on Valentine's Day. If you don't want to brave a red flirty dress, you can always opt for a flattering low-cut top or silk scarf.

2. Step out in sexy stilettos. Perhaps you wear heels every day, or maybe you're someone who only has one pair that is reserved for special occasions. Either way, this season's Valentine's Day fashion is all about heels - the higher the better! If you're a bit shaky in heels, begin to practice your walk now to avoid looking awkward on the night.

3. Go for smouldering eyes OR striking lips. You don't want to look like a clown, so decide what your best feature is and highlight it. If you're going to do smouldering eyes, wear a subtle gloss on your lips. Otherwise use a matte red on your lips and use light, shimmery shadows on your lids.

4. Make it a lacy liaison. If there's ever a time that you want to leave the frumpy granny panties in the bottom draw, it's Valentine's Day. Beware of tacky little numbers, and rather go for pretty lace ensembles.

5. Confidence is key. This season's Valentine's Day fashion is all about glamour, but it's also about having the confidence to pull it off. Walk tall and let your date know that you feel good about yourself - if you believe it, so will your partner.
