Valentine's Day Gift Basket for Baby

Firsts are so important to parents. Baby's first step, baby's first words, and baby's first holidays are just some of the firsts that parents celebrate without reserve. Baby's first Valentine's Day is no exception. Here are a few ideas for Valentine's Day gift baskets for your baby or a special baby in your life.

If you want your basket to be a "practical" basket, you will want to put items in the basket that baby can and will use. Useful items are baby shampoo, baby wash, baby lotion, baby oil, diapers, powder, bibs, clothes, and a baby first aid kit to name a few.

All babies need bibs at some point. The baby bib can be plain, cute, or even fun. There is a variety of bibs to choose from. Wal-mart may be the least expensive, but Target and Babies R Us have cuter and more unique bibs.

Baby shampoo is a practical Valentine's Day gift for a baby's gift basket. When buying shampoo for a baby, it is best to choose one specifically for a baby. Try to get one that is gentle on baby's skin and eyes.

To accompany baby shampoo in a Valentine's Day gift basket for a baby, you can purchase baby wash and baby lotion. Be sure to buy products specifically for babies. The product should not be harsh or have much perfume.

You can also put a cute outfit in a Valentine's Day gift basket for a baby. If you do not find a cute outfit, you could add onesies or a sleeper to the gift basket.

If you are trying to make a "fun" gift basket for your Valentine's Day basket, here are a few items you should add.

When you think fun, you usually think toys. For an infant, toys may be scarce or expensive. If you are buying for someone else's baby, you may have a spending limit. You can still buy rattles, teething rings, and even infant toys that light up and play songs for a fun Valentine's Day gift basket.

DVD's or movies for babies should also be included in a fun Valentine's Day gift basket for baby. There are also plenty of books you can add to the gift basket. Babies love music. You could also contribute a baby CD or tape to baby's gift basket. Choosing any of these products for a Valentine's Day gift basket for a baby will put a smile on everyone's face.
