This next gift idea is a sure winner. What better to give a gardener for Valentine's Day than flowers! Buy the gardener in your life some rose bushes. You can plant roses any time of year if the ground isn't frozen. Check the weather in your gardener's neck of the woods, and if all's well, go rose bush shopping. There are numerous varieties of roses. Pick ones in your gardener's favorite colors and you are sure to please.

You could also put together a fun gift set for gardeners. Get a small flowerpot, add a box of chocolates, some seed packets, little gardening tools, and a cute pair of gloves, and then wrap it all in pretty paper. You can also throw a gift card to a gardening store in the mix if you're feeling really generous.

Party stores sell wrap for baskets that will work for your little flowerpot also. The paper comes in pretty colors and designs. Pick something that fits your gardener's personality. After you gather the paper around the gift set, use a ribbon at the top to hold it together.

If you don't want to cover the gift set, just tie ribbon around the bottom of the flowerpot itself.
