Valentine's Day Gifts You Can Make for Her

Homemade Valentine's Day Gifts

Susan Sosbe
Women love romantic, mushy gestures for Valentine's Day...or any day, for that matter. A meaningful Valentine's Day gift made by her favorite guy would be perfect. So, if you want Cupid's arrow to go straight to the heart, or you are simply on a budget this year, try your hand at making your valentine a gift.

Valentine's Day Massage

A great gift any woman would love would be a sensual massage. Here's the kicker though -- you can not go into it expecting one in return. This is a just-for-her massage. Get some self-heating massage oil and work those magical hands all over her body.

Valentine's Day CD of Love Songs

If technology does not intimidate you, create a CD full of love songs that have special meaning to your relationship. Choose the first song you danced to, the song that was playing when you had your first kiss or the song that always makes you think of her. It will be a gift she will cherish for a long time.

Valentine's Day Keepsake Box

If you are handy with wood, make her a keepsake box that she will treasure forever. It can be simple or elaborate, depending on your skills. The important thing is that it is from you. It also gives you a reason to use your tools. That's always a plus.

Love Notes

Women love to know what makes them special. Create a bunch of love notes just for her. Tell her all the reasons why you love her and what it is about her that makes your heart race. Women like to know the specifics. Sure, she knows you love her, but she would really love to know why. Put your love notes in a jar and decorate it with a pretty ribbon. She can read them all at once, one a day or whenever she needs a feel good moment.

Handmade Valentine's Day Card

Give her an extra special valentine with a homemade Valentine's Day card...made by you. It doesn't have to be extravagant. It just has to show that you love her enough to make her something. A simple heart on the front and an "I love you" on the inside will be perfect. If you are feeling extra romantic, think of a simple poem to put on the inside. It doesn't have to be a masterpiece. The fact that it is from your heart will be enough to make her heart melt. It can be sweet and romantic or quirky and funny. Try something like:

Roses are red

Opera's a bore

Nascar kicks ass

But I love you more.

Pretty catchy, isn't it? Yeah, you can use that.
