Whether you are single or in a relationship, it is time to start thinking about how to style your hair for Valentine's Day. You can be sleek and sexy or fun and flirty. Here are some ideas for all types of hair lengths to make your Valentine's Day a memorable one.

Style #1- Sleek and Sex- Low Ponytail

For: Medium to Long Hair

Prepare your hair for the ponytail by flat ironing your entire hair. Smooth your hair with a smoothing serum such as Redken Glass 01. With a boar- bristle brush, smooth out your hair and place into a low ponytail. Smooth frizz and flyaway's by applying a medium hold pomade. Cover the ponytail holder with a small strand of hair or place an embellished clip over the ponytail holder. Secure into place with a shine hair spray such as Tigi S Factor Chic Shine Hairspray. This look accents a beautiful Valentine's Day dress.

Style #2 Loose and Luxurious - Low Ponytail

For: Medium to Long Hair

Prepare your hair for this sexy Valentine's Day hairstyle by curling it with a 1-2" curling iron. Control flyaway's and frizz with a serum. Now loosely pull hair into a low ponytail. Apply more serum as necessary. Use a flexible hold hairspray only as necessary. Accent with a rose placed as the base of the ponytail.

Style #3: Fun and Flirty

For: Short Hair to Medium Hair

Section your hair into four equal sections. Curl one section at a time. Place a medium hold pomade onto the strand of hair. Wrap the strand of hair around a ½" curling iron. It is important to wrap the hair starting at the base of the strand. Be cautious to not burn your fingers. This creates loose waves with a ton of volume. Place an embellished clip onto the front/side part of your hair to create a flirty Valentine's Day look.

Style #4 Sultry and Beautiful- Bun

For: Medium to Long Hair

Complete all the steps for Style #2. When you complete all the steps, take the hair and wrap around the base of the ponytail to create a loose bun. Secure to the base of the ponytail with bobby pins. Make sure to hide the ponytails. You may also accent this with a clips or flower. You can also make this uniquely different by placing the ponytail to the back lower side of the head.
