Valentine's Day can be a very productive time of the year for AVON representatives. It can also be a slow time since most people are still trying to recover from Christmas shopping. As an AVON rep you can use Valentine's Day to your advantage and to show your customers how much your appreciate them. Here are a few simple Valentine's Day Ideas for your customers.

Valentine's Day Idea #1- Sweet Deals

Valentine's Day is one of the sweetest days of the year. Make it even sweeter for your customers. Offer a 10% discount for every order placed in the Valentine's Day campaign.

Valentine's Day Idea #2- Valentine's Day Goodie Bags

Make your customers a Valentine's Day goodie bag. Use the small, cellophane bags found at dollar store and fill them with a brochure, a few samples, a mini lotion and a few pieces of candy. They would equal out to be about a dollar for each on including the brochure, and the mini. You may also want to use other item that you find in the outlet book or that you may have in your stock.

Valentine's Day Idea #3- Gift Baskets

Got to local businesses where you know there will be men. Car shops, tire dealers, and car dealers are a great place to start. Offer them gift baskets. Make up a flyer or have a few on hand. Be sure to show some jewelry as well. Let them know that you have pre-made baskets but can also make them customer made.

When making your baskets go to the dollar store and find some very nice but cheap baskets, some plastic wrap, maybe even a few cute and cuddly bears for a dollar. Add some of your favorite products like bath sets, foot products, nail sets or anything else. Add a bear, a candle and some chocolates. When pricing them be sure to add the few dollars that you put into the added supplies. Make them in variable price ranges.

Valentine's Day Idea #4- Gift Certificates

What better way to give the perfect gift. Make gift certificates and promote them. Make them from $5 to $100. Be sure to promote them in your brochures and flyers. Take them with you as you are showing you gift baskets and let them know that you can also add them to the gift baskets as well.

Valentine's Day Idea #5- Valentine's Day Raffle

Offer your customers a chance to enter a Valentine's Day Raffle with every order they place. Make a nice basket such as one of your gift baskets and place a label or flyer on your brochures that say something like "Receive and entry into the Valentine's Day Raffle with every order." Give them extra entries for every new customer they refer that places a $15.

Valentine's Day Idea #6- Valentine's Day Extravaganza

Do you have a lot of stock that you ordered while on sale? How about those orders that you were stuck with when customers never paid? Well get rid of it with a Valentine's Day Extravaganza. Have a large sale for Valentine's Day. Place some stickers on them and put them in a basket and carry them every where you go. It's kind of like having a 'cash and carry'. The fact that it's called a Valentine's Day Extravaganza will get your customers excited.

Valentine's Day Idea #6- Gift Wrapping

Be sure to offer gift wrapping to your customers. Most of the items they buy during the Valentine's Day campaign will be for other people. Offer free gift wrapping to save them time.

Find the best deals in the current brochures for the Derek Jeter, Mesmerize and your other favorite colognes. Make up a nice flyer offering a nice gift set for men. Women will love it. Since you can get them at gift set prices, add a few dollars to cover the cost of your supplies.
