VALENTINE'S DAY IDEAS that WON'T BREAK the BANK

J.C. JORDAN
Valentine's Day doesn't mean just flowers and candy for your wife or sweetheart. There are many ways to express one's love for their significant other.

Dinner:

It doesn't have to be at an expensive restaurant. Woman can make a romantic meal at home for their boyfriend or husband. And men shouldn't be afraid to cook up a romantic meal if they know how to cook. A couple of candles on the table, mood lighting, some romantic music and you have a nice evening without breaking the bank. Make sure the television is off and don't forget to dance with each other. If you have children send them to the grandparents for the evening.

Write a Love Letter:

The art of writing letters is quickly becoming extinct with email and text messaging. Write a love letter or poem telling your valentine what's in your heart. Celebrate reading each others letters with a bottle of wine or champagne!

Scrapbook Photos:

Pull out all those old photos that you have always wanted to put into albums. You and your significant other can reminisce on how you fell in love while putting the photos into a scrapbook.

Take A Photograph:

When was the last time you and your husband or boyfriend had a photo taken? Go get a professional photo taken. One 8x10 of the two of you won't be expensive; then together go buy a nice frame for it.

Go For A Walk:

Go for a walk through the park, if it's not too cold maybe you can have a picnic or go ice- skating.

Strawberries and Champagne :

Dip some strawberries in melted chocolate and serve them up with some champagne while you both watch a romantic movie.

I think these are some of the best tips I have read because they really are nice cheap ideas and not cheesy like some other ones.
