Vines are the perfect decoration for a Jungle Love party. Hang them from the ceiling, walls and wrap around anything that's not moving. Vines can be purchased at Quality Silks, starting at $9.50. You can also make your own vines out of brown paper bags. Cut the bottom off of the bag. Then cut it down the side, to open it up. Cut the bag lengthwise, into three strips. twist the strips together, until they look like a vine. Staple the ends closed or to another vine.
Make large leaves for your vine out of two colors of green construction paper or poster board. Do this by cutting out narrow heart shapes. Cut narrow crescents into the leaf, in the direction of the point. Leave one to two inches in the center.
To add the love to your jungle vines, add pink or red hearts. The idea is for the vine to look like it sprouted Valentine's leaves.

Jungle Love Valentine's decorations wouldn't be complete without a lot of greenery. Use any potted trees you have or can borrow from friends. You can even use inflatable palm trees. Walmart has six foot tall ones for $25. You can even buy some coconuts to sit around it.
Use any other green or tropical house plants you have or can borrow. Small plants can be used as centerpieces. Just add little red hearts to them, like the picture above.

Animals add a bit of fun to jungle party decorations for Valentine's Day. Find inflatable ones or large stuffed animals. Before going out to purchase these., check with everyone you know who has children. Kids often have closets full of stuffed animals. See if you can borrow them. Animals to look for are snakes, lions, giraffes, frogs, lizards, tropical birds, zebras and cheetahs. Monkeys are a must-have. Dollar Tree store have the ones with hands that stick together. They are light enough to hung from your jungle vines and only cost a dollar.
Valentine's Day Party Decorating Ideas: Lighting Options
There are plenty of ideas to decorate your Valentine's party with lighting. You can hang colored party lights or paper lanterns from the ceiling. Add Christmas lights to the background and it will look as if unseen jungle animals are peering out at you.
If you are wanting the romantic glow of candlelight, go with flameless. All of the paper vines and other decorations will be highly flammable. You can put battery operated tea lights in red or animal print candle holders and use them as centerpieces. Dollar an item or discount stores typically have these candle holders for a buck.

Animal print or faux fur will add a bit of whimsy and wildness to your Jungle Love party decorations for Valentine's Day. Use the fake fur for throws and rugs. Animal print fabric or bandannas can be used to cover the front of throw pillows. This will create a nice lounge area, that you could even tent in. It would make a cool focal point for your Jungle Love Valentine's Day party.
