So maybe your party needs to be a little less alcoholic drink oriented and more planned for family fun. Make your Valentine's Day Game oriented around the concept of truth of false. Have two teams; get some index cards and magic markers. Each team member writes down three true or false Valentine's Day themes questions. These questions can range from the history of Valentine's Day to that first date that mom and dad had, or maybe even your son or daughter's first crush. It does not matter. Then once the questions are done. The teams will take turns asking the questions while keeping score. If you would like to incorporate a little karaoke into this game; have the losing team sing the worst song ever, and remember keep it themed with the idea of Valentine's Day.
If your party is for younger children one easy and great idea for Valentine's Day fun is to setup a craft table and let the kids have at it. The best way to have a child party with games and such is to not schedule when the event will occur but let the event happen when it does. Let the craft table have items such as red, white and pink construction paper, Elmer's glue, glitter, a few boxes of the heart candy, and magic markers. You will be amazed at the creativity that the children will have. This will free you up so that other matters can be taken care of, such as greeting the guest's parents.
Finally, if you are planning a party for two, a great way to have fun is to just enjoy each other's company. Sometimes the best gift a loved one can give is silence or relaxation time. After the kids are out to bed, or after a hard day of classes and work, downtime with no agenda in mind can lead way to wonderful things. So whether your party is for two or twenty two, here are a few ideas that you can consider to make this Valentine's Day a memorable one.
