Valentine's Day Pledge to My Wife
I thank the Lord for my angel from Heaven.
You simply don't know what you've done for my life
From boyfriend and girlfriend, now husband and wife.
While you took over 34 years for me to find
Now that I have you, I've left sorrow behind.
The life that we're building gets better each day
And I know together we'll always find our way.
So on this Valentine's Day, for you my wife
I pledge my loyalty and love for the rest of my life.
Till the day that I die and breathe no more
Then in Heaven I'll wait for you to cross through that door.
And on that day, my new pledge to you
Will be to hold you, eternity through.
