Valentine's Day Poem

I sit here and try to think of ways to impress you.

Sincere words and thoughts that I want to express to you.

I can't believe that I'm in love,

being with you is truly a gift from above.

Before we met my life was a mess,

but when we are together some how I feel blessed.

You show me compassion, you show me true love.

When my life is a mess you shower me with hugs.

I feel alone when your not around,

but when we are together

my feet float inches from the ground.

I sit here staring blankly with pen and paper

Trying to write these words for you.

About how when our worlds came together

It was to good to be true.

Every fairy tale must have a happy end,

So I'm glad to call you my closest friend.

I write these words trying to say

I love you and Happy Valentine's Day.
