Valentine's Day Poem: Torture the Man
how much money do I need to pay?
what do i get, what do i buy
who invented this holiday and why?
it's just a day to take from the man
probably propogated by the woman!
let me try to brainstorm
something useful, technical or warm?
nothing yet -- think, man, think!
I am trying to but all of my ideas stink
how about some yummy, sweet chocolate?
sorry, forgot you are trying to keep fit
a cuddly stuffed teddy bear?
bought that before, pulling out my hair!
would colorful flowers be nice?
oh my god, who came up with that price?!
what about sexy lingerie?
i'm a guy, what can i say!
does straight up cash sound appealing?
no good, I'm supposed to know what you're feeling?!
roses are red, violets are blue,
what to buy, i still haven't got a clue!

Yup, finding gifts can be quite a challenge! Last year my son took his wife on a lunch cruise around the statue of liberty. That was cool. :-)
