Valentine's Day Poems: My Two Special Valentines

PennyB
I look into your big, dark brown eyes

A bit of heaven is what I see

The wonder of the world around you

How you often share that world with me

The joy you bring, immeasurable

Time spent with you, beyond compare

Your laughter puts a smile within my heart

Precious moments that we share

Each day you amaze me, even more

I'm not sure how that could be

But the world would be an empty place

If you couldn't, spend some time with me

Every day I thank my lucky stars

And the glorious heavens up above

There's nothing more in the world I'd want

Than to have your wonderous love

No, there's nothing in this world more dear

I'm so blessed that you are mine

The dearest little grandson ever known

You're my sweetest, precious Valentine

So many years, the time's flown by

And each year you grow more dear

You're in my heart, you're in my thoughts

Your essence is forever near

A smile that brightens up my world

Eyes that sparkle like the golden sun

The love you hold, beyond all that's known

None more precious, my dearest one

The many hours, we've spent together

Talking for hours, throughout the night

Memories shared, forever treasured

You bring the warmest, glowing light

I'm not alone, and of that I know

Every life you touch, they know they're blessed

No one could ever hold a candle

To the beauty of heart that you possess

Like an Angel that walks amongst us

You're like no other, you truly shine

Ever remember, dear granddaughter

Forever, my most precious Valentine

~ To Cortney
