Valentine's Mail Boxes: Use for Collecting Your Valentine's Day Cards
With All of This Love Going Around, Where Do You Put the Valentines?
This craft is from About.com and features turning a shoe box into a multi-purpose 'mail box' for use during Valentine's day, and long after the holiday is gone. For this it definitely deserves an honorable mention.

Worth a look for inspiration! Create your own masterpieces, and get inspiration from looking at many pictures on the topic. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, and since this article is only around 400, this is another great stop for you!
The Traditional "Paper Plate" Valentine holder
(Yeah, if you only get one or two Valentines). No seriously folks, this is a great way to collect, and display your Valentines every year. It is an easy project that kids can do on their own to make a great place to keep and hang their Valentines.
(Scroll down to the bottom and read Valentine Containers for the craft).
This is a great way to reuse some things around the house, though it does take a lot of parental supervision, with the drilling, and the work to get the can up to where it would be used for children. If you can get this to work without too much hassle, it will make a sturdy, lasting Valentine container.
Heart Lion Valentine Card Holder
Martha Stewart's Website, a foundational website for anyone interested in crafting can also find tons of crafts posted by other people. Though the instructions themselves are a bit sparse, the pictures do quite a bit to illustrate the craft. And last, but certainly not least (and my favorite!!!)...
The Valentine's Day Card Mailbox
This probably takes the cake as the winner of my favorite Valentine's Day Card holder. These directions are well drawn (literally) out with some colored in pictures for a little more detail. This is a bit complicated of a project, but if your little one is good at following instructions, and will ask for help occasionally, you can make a really great mail box, that not only will look great holding Valentines, but it will look great all year round!
