Graphics and audio are HUGE concepts to consider when buying video-games. Fortunately, this game is for the PSP, which as we all (hopefully) know, PSP graphics are astounding! You can see the characters in great detail, and same thing with the building. Marvelous Inc. takes 3D games to a whole to level of graphics. I definitely loved the graphics myself, and Valhalla Knights absolutely deserves a 23 in Graphics and Audio.
The game play is very smooth, and gives you a lot of options of what to do in the game. At many times though, you could get stuck, as many people say it. It can get confusing, but overall, it's not that bad. Personally, my favorite part of the game would be the ability to customize basically anything of the characters. I love the types of characters you can have, and that there are many classes from which to choose from. You can completely control your team, and in battle too! The battles are also something to greatly admire. You can fight with all of your characters and switch between them mid-battle. It's amazing that with so much action and game play going on at one time, the PSP doesn't just freeze up and shut off!
The networking capabilities are also fascinating. With your friends, in ad-hoc mode or wi-fi mode, you can battle each other, or work together in 30 different missions. Nothing special there, just something that'll take your mind off homework or work for about 2-3 hours before your friend has to go eat dinner.
The only thing bad about the game play itself would be the lack of diversity from other games. It's a short story, but don't get sad, it's supposed to be better in the sequel!
Overall, it deserves about an 8.5 on my rating scale. It could get better in story line, but other than that, it rocks. SO... play it... have fun... and then go buy the sequel. Thanks for reading my article.
