This page of my heart is for you. The mold
of pines stringing us to the sky forms
plum sense of lost pins, sinking needles.
of pines stringing us to the sky forms
plum sense of lost pins, sinking needles.
We blend as one, one ruler, shared core,
one seed, beneath the shade of stone.
This script rends two as a single star,
soul spun in gold and stitched upon
the sinking fold of sea, the thread betweentwo minds. None dare tear this cloth asunder.

Post a CommentVery nice! From the middle to the last stanza especially, the "twine" is illustrated with great poetic skill.
Great poem!
The final stanza really grabs me. Liked the play of the title, "Valiant Twine" juxtaposed w/ Valentine, too.
