Great Wedding Money Saving Tips Will Help You Pull Off a Masterpiece Even with Limited Funds

Your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event and your one great chance to play the fairy tale princess who has found her prince and is now embarking on the fabled "happily ever after." You want it to be personal and unique and so special that family and friends will remember it fondly for years to come.

If you're like the many couples in this economy who are already struggling to make ends meet, these wedding money saving tips could truly help you make the most of the money you do have to spend for this momentous occasion.

The first thing to do is find out if any of your relatives and friends would be willing to do some things for you and your wedding. They probably would feel honored to be asked to play more important roles than being just guests.

You might even have a family member or friend play or sing at the ceremony, instead of hiring a professional singer or musician. Or, set up an iPod to play the music for the ceremony and even the reception. Most churches and wedding facilities have a decent sound system to plug into. Then you'll know exactly what you'll be getting and not have to worry about live singers or musicians being late or making mistakes in their performances!

Ask one friend or relative to take the more formal photographs and another to video record the ceremony. Or, you might consider hiring a high school senior or college student with an interest in photography or filming videos.

One of my favorite wedding money saving tips is to ask your guests to take lots of candid photos of each other! You can request that they all bring their own cameras, or you can purchase inexpensive disposable flash cameras to set out on all the wedding reception tables.

You might even provide a list of what events or people you would especially love for your guests to capture for you. For a table full of guests who are unfamiliar with one another, this can be an especially good idea. It can break the ice and allow for some group fun (or even hilarity)!

Of all the suggestions I can offer, the best one is to invest up front in a professional wedding money saving tips planning guide. Such a guide will offer secret tips and tricks of the wedding planning trade that can help you save much more than you could ever manage on your own without such guidance, along with a detailed plan for every aspect of your perfect wedding celebration!
