Vampire's Song

Angel Writer
Beware of the full moons midnight stance

Where wind whispers

And shadows dance

Lord of the Vampires heeds your lonely call

The king of darkness

Will take all

Listen closely for the stillness

He brings into natures night

Quickly now

Surround your soul in angels light

He lust not for passion or love

But, in which to live

He needs your blood

Within this dark silence

You give him glance

He'll spell bound you

Within his trance

Too late now, for wanting to flee

You're bound to this darkness

For an eternity

From the Darkest recesses

In which he reigns

Lord of the Vampires

Keeps hold of your soul

Forever in chains

Very well done. I love a poem or a story that paints pictures in my mind and this one surely does! A bit on the dark side (we all have a bit of the dark side in us) but this poem also has a bright side and tells us how to avoid the dark side if we wish to do so and explains the dangers of the dark side, so it has a good moral to it! I love it! Great work! Very insightful!

i LIKE HOW THE POEM SHOWS THAT THERE IS ALWAYS A LIGHTER SIDE EVEN IN THE MIST OF DARKNESS. " GREAT POEM"
