Vampires These Days

They're nothing but children,
Some call themselves "Goth"
Or some vacuous subset there-under.
They pin prick their fingers,
Scratch skin on a neighbor,
Lick droplets of blood from the living.
So weak and so sickly and
Always complaining, "nobody
Understands us."

The undead are real.
And will not be mocked.
We're coming for costumed imposters.
We'll gnaw through your necks
In an instant you'll join us,
Satiating forbidden hunger.
And after we've fed,
We roar with raw power
"No-one can stand against us"
