Vampiric Dance

I love you
she whispered
violently
in the dark
wiping her lips
of any trace
of lipstick
a sad story
her heart left
behind
no more tears
never any fears
a silent embrace
to quicken the pace
slashing at his heart
never to they part
draining him slowly
creating only slight
punctures
as he wrestles for his
remaining breath
looking intensely in her eyes
a meek
....love.... you...
too.... is heard
as bloody tears seep
down her cheeks
spilling a drop on his cheek...
one last dance
as they parade
around France
A night not to be forgotten
she lays him down
gently
closing his eye lids

runs away
to prey in
