Van Der Sloot Admits Killing Flores; Went Berserk Over Laptop

Stephany Flores was killed because she took Joran van der Sloot's laptop. Joran van der Sloot, who originally denied murdering Stephany Flores, has confessed to killing the 21-year-old business college student, reports a Peruvian government official.

The official confirmed Joran van der Sloot's confession to NBC News Monday evening. A paper, La Republica, states that van der Sloot's anger went off the deep end, and after Flores grabbed his laptop computer without the 22-year-old Dutchman's permission, he broke her neck. Apparently, at some point, Stephany Flores also learned that Joran van der Sloot has been the primary suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.

La Republica quotes van der Sloot: "I did not want to do it. The girl intruded into my private life."

Well hot dang, kiddo; if you don't like "girls" "intruding" into your private life, then why did you invite her into your hotel room at 5 a.m.? If you don't like "girls" getting nosy, then what the sam-hill are you doing with "girls" you just met in your hotel room with your laptop computer?

Stephany Flores has been criticized for being stupid enough to subserviently allow this madman to lead her into a hotel, into a hotel room alone with him; video footage clearly shows Stephany Flores robotically following Joran van der Sloot, her head down, as though he is doing all of her thinking for her.

However, another huge question looms: How could have van der Sloot been idiotic enough to think he could get away with killing another woman? He says, "I did not want to do it." Oh really?

If he was so peeved that Stephany Flores took his laptop, he had plenty of time to react with only an angry voice, or worst-case scenario, pull her away from the laptop. A man with anger control problems might smack a woman, but break her neck? Then stab her? Hit her with a baseball bat on top of that?

What kind of childhood did Joran van der Sloot have, anyways? Never mind that his father was a prominent judge. Success in one's career does not translate to success at parenting. One has to believe that very horrendous things went on in Joran van der Sloot's upbringing; monsters are created, not born.

The June 7 airing of "Nancy Grace" on HLN had a guest on (I didn't catch his name) who offered some information about the Peruvian prison that Joran van der Sloot will likely end up going to. He said the food is "inedible," and that van der Sloot will be "entering hell." Inmates get allowed showers only once a week for 15 minutes, and it's pure hell at this prison.
