Van Der Sloot DeVries

Stephen C. Rose
Dutch reporter fined in Australian court - World news - Europe - msnbc.com: "De Vries is the Netherlands' highest-profile crime reporter. He made global headlines for a 2008 show about the disappearance of U.S. teenager Natalee Holloway in Aruba. It was based on hidden-camera interviews with Joran van der Sloot, the Dutch man last seen with Holloway before her disappearance on May 30, 2005."

The reporter who made headlines interviewing Joran van der Sloot paid a fine on Australia for violating police restrictions while chasing another murder suspect

The victim of this crime was a Dutch woman who died while on vacation in Honduras in 2008.

No explanation was given for the reticence of the Australian police in letting DeVries try to ply his craft.

But if there is another suspect or so about, that plays into the web of speculation that surrounds Joran van der Sloot. I shall see what I can find out by perusing the Australian press to see if there are more details.

Joran van Der Sloot Journalist Peter DeVries Still Seeking Murderers. The Dutch reporter who interviewed Joran van der Sloot was fined in Australia for illegal pursuite of yet another murder suspect. Strange all around.
