Van Der Sloot Googled

Stephen C. Rose
Joran van der Sloot is generating more stories today than he has in the last few months. This one is perhaps the most poignant. I first came upon this:

Peruvian murder victim's family Googled "Joran van der Sloot" | ShortFormBlog: "Enrique Flores • On finding out that Joran van der Sloot, the now-confessed suspect in his daughter's murder, was THAT guy. Van der Sloot, who was also the main suspect in the Natalee Holloway case, admitted to killing Stephany Flores tonight. Despite the nature of the crime, Peru's criminal system isn't nearly as harsh as the American system and the maximum sentence he can face is 35 years in prison. SOURCE"

When I clicked on SOURCE I was led here:

'Van der Sloot' Google search stuns slain woman's brother - CNN.com: "CNN) -- It was unlike Stephany Flores Ramirez not to come home on time. An avid poker player, the Peruvian 21-year-old lived with her father and knew he was expecting her after a night at a Texas Hold 'em tournament on May 30 in Lima."

If one thing is clear it is that whatever happens in Peru there are others waiting, should he ever leave that country alive.

"Joran van der Sloot Googled By Peruvian Victim's Brother." Stephany Flores seen on video with Joran van der Sloot. Peruvian government says van der Sloot has confessed to her murder.
