Van Der Sloot: No Rats Photographed in Recently Surfaced Photo of Joran Van Der Sloot

Lima, Peru- No rats were taken in the photo with Joran van der Sloot and other high profile murderers, which surfaced earlier this week. The young Dutchman, who once told a Dutchman news reporter he feared for his life, appeared rather fearless in the photo. The photo shows 22-year-old Van der Sloot standing alongside fellow inmates Hugo Trujillo Ospina and William Trickett Smith II. The fourth man in the picture is not identified. As for the living conditions Joran van der Sloot once talked about rats crawling out of his toilet, well none showed up for this special photo occasion. All the men who were photographed in the picture actually looked clean and healthy.

According to CNN, Peruvian Authorities are seeking out individuals responsible for the release of this photo showing Joran van der with the other Miguel, Castro Castro prisoners, and responsible parties will be disciplined. Joran van der Sloot is in jail awaiting his trial on the murder of young business student Stephany Flores. A 21-year old Peruvian woman he met during a poker tournament in Peru.

Van der Sloot is accused of taking Stephany Flores back to his hotel and later murdering her after he became enraged over an email she read. The email apparently was pertaining to an earlier case in 2005 where Van der Sloot was the prime suspect.

Joran van der Sloot appears to be still enjoying his celebrity status. Could it be the more Joran van der Sloot stay in the spot light the better his chances are of staying alive? The charges have all seem to be a big joke to Van der Sloot.

The photo must come as some relief to Mrs. Van der Sloot to see her son still alive, Mrs. Van der Sloot, has told reporters that she will not visit her son in the Peruvian jail. She stood by her statement that young Van der Sloot needed psychiatric help and he was sick in the head.
