Vanessa Hudgens Enjoys Disneyland Just like Anyone Else

On Saturday November 10th, 2007 I happened to be at Disneyland with a friend to celebrate her birthday. On that Saturday it happened to be one of the days that Disneyland was filming for their Holiday Special. All around the park there were alot of Holiday and Christmas decorations up. In front of Main Street was a stage with 2 video camera's set up. In front of the Magic Castle there was also a stage set up. It was pretty exciting to see everything set up like a movie set. Around the stages they annouced that different movie and music stars were going to appearing on the different stages.

Josh Groban appeared early in the morning, but unfortunately my friends and I were unable to see him appear. It seemed like a normal day at Disneyland at first until I noticed that the lines for the rides weren't as long as they were usually for a Saturday. I found out later why when I was waiting in line for the Buzz Lightyear ride. During mid-afternoon there was a big crowd of people in front of the Magic Castle stage to see some of the Cast of High School Musical. Disney announced that their were going to be appearances by Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron. While in line I was able to see the stage and some of the Filming for the Disney Special but didn't really get a close up of anyone.

I've watched both High School Musical 1 and 2 and have also seen all the headlines about the Vanessa Hudgens photo scandel. You would think if I saw Vanessa Hudgens up close I would reconize her and would act how all fans usually act when they see a Movie Star. Instead, the reality was pretty different. In my eyes Vanessa Hudgens was just like any other visiter of Disneyland.. well except she had A Cast member and a disquised security gaurd with her that I didn't notice until later. I ran into Vanessa Hudgens on Saturday November 10th, 2007 at Disneyland in front of the Tiki Lounge at the Pine Apple snack line. Usually that line is huge but for some reason there were only five people in line in front of my friends and I. Those five people were Vanessa Hudgens, the Disney Cast Member and Security, and what looked to be some of Vanessa's family members. I had not noticed at all that Vanessa was in front of me until my friends told me later. Instead I was too busy trying to figure out what I wanted from the pinapple snack line. I even asked my friend what I should get and when I did that Vanessa turned around and advised me that the Pineapple Whip was pretty good, which she ended up getting by the way. At that time I thanked her for the advice thinking she was just some ordinary girl enjoying the treats of Disneyland.

After I purchased my pineapple whip my friends were all astonished at me for not knowing who was in front of me in line. I told them that I thought Vanessa Hudgens was just like all of us, and she is in a way When I turned around to take a second look at Vanessa to make sure it was her she was eating her Pineapple whip talking to her family and the Disney cast members. Yes I understand that Vanessa Hudgens is very famous and a teen idol, but she is like just another person like me that enjoys Disneyland and the treats it offers. The good thing is that we both enjoy Pineapple whip, and I'm glad she told me to get it.
