While they may not be the healthiest option for a snack or breakfast on the go, Pop Tart style toaster treats are a favorite at my house. Last week while at my favorite store, Big Lots, I saw Pop Tarts in Vanilla Milkshake flavor, made by The Kellogg company at a pretty great price of $1.20 per box, which includes 8 pastries. The flavor got my attention, who does not like vanilla milkshakes? I did not hesitate to purchase this Pop Tart product, and I will definitely purchase this flavor again!

It had honestly been a while since I had purchased Pop Tart's, we generally go with the store brand products because of the savings, but in this case the national brand, Pop Tarts, ended up only costing 1 penny more than I generally pay for the Kroger brand. I forgot that the texture of the crust is not as moist as generic brands, and it was very enjoyable. The flavor was unique and delicious. Pop Tarts Vanilla Milkshake flavored toaster pastries offers a unique flavor that is enjoyable and a welcomed change from the standard Strawberry, Brown Sugar and Cinnamon, Smores and Cherry flavors that we have all had time and again.

Pop Tarts Vanilla Milkshake toaster treats are not as bad for you as you might imagine. This product is low in fat, has no cholesterol, has a small amount of fiber, and calcium, vitamin a, iron, niacin, riboflavin, vitamin b6, and other minerals and nutrients. The major down fall nutritionally would be the 16 grams of sugar and 200 calories per toaster pastry.

I will purchase Pop Tarts Vanilla Milkshake toaster treats again, as well as any other flavor, and I would recommend this flavor and brand to anyone who is looking for a quick and not exactly nutritionally a waste. These toaster pastries are also ideal for anyone who likes vanilla flavors, Pop Tarts, or milkshakes. Kids and adults alike will enjoy this product that is available in most grocery stores. They are delicious hot or cold and are very convenient for packing in a book bag or eating on the go. Kellogg's is a well known brand, and Pop Tarts are available in a huge assortment of flavors, sure to please just about anyone! In my case I got a fantastic deal, but on average Pop Tarts retail for about $2 per box of eight toaster treats.
