America is quickly becoming a third-world nation, unable to produce for, nor sustain, itself. Yet, not barely any word comes from the US policy leaders on a plan to revitalize or turn around the critical situation that is devastating America's economic prosperity and nation as a whole.
The Founders of this great republic always promoted and intended for us to be economically independent as a nation. Andrew Jackson and Thomas Jefferson in particularly understood the vital importance of a secure nation's financial house. Jefferson wanted desperately a balanced budget amendment to the US Constitution he said, "I wish it were possible to obtain a single amendment to our Constitution. I would be willing to depend on that alone for the reduction of the administration of our government; I mean an additional article taking from the Federal Government the power of borrowing. I now deny their power of making paper money or anything else a legal tender. I know that to pay all proper expenses within the year would, in case of war, be hard on us. But not so hard as ten wars instead of one. For wars could be reduced in that proportion; besides that the State governments would be free to lend their credit in borrowing quotas". Jefferson also felt that a national debt was an abomination and balanced the budget and greatly reduce the nation's the debt during his term, he stated, "And to preserve their [the nation's children] independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our election between economy and liberty, or profusion and servitude." Andrew Jackson totally eliminated US debt as well as abolished the foreign controlled central bank, the Bank of the United States, in 1832 - which was replaced in 1913 by today's foreign owned central bank, the Federal Reserve. George Washington warned against destructive entanglements with European powers. Alexander Hamilton understood the value of being a nation able to provide for itself, he stated, "Not only the wealth, but the independence and security of a country, appear to be materially connected with the prosperity of manufactures...Every nation ought to endeavor to posses within itself all the essentials of a national supply. These comprise the means of subsistence, habitation, clothing and defense..."
Today these words, or anything vaguely resembling them, are rarely heard above a passing whisper. Today voices such as GW Bush's desire to use the occasion of the Federal Reserves' orchestration of the current housing and credit crisis to hand over America's entire financial institutional system to them. It must be understood, the reason for the current housing and credit crisis is the lack of real money in the pockets of Americans, and the degenerating wages due to the mass influx of illegal immigrants and the exportation of high paying manufacturing and technology jobs, the inability of Americans to save money for the banks to use, and Fed policies of extraordinary lax regulatory policies followed by extreme tightening of credit. The policies to strengthen the Fed, and actions thereforth, are for the institutional creditor's and financier's benefit, not for the American people in need. Remember, that was once said that, "so goes America's automotive industry, goes America." That was because so many other industries feed off of it, from the leather and textiles companies that supplied materials for the interiors and the metal companies that supplied the metals for the body to housing industry that supplied homes for the workers and the restaurants the fed the workers. These collateral casualties can not be replaced by another restaurant or service related business. No more than can the $25 plus per/hr worker's circulating dollar be replaced by a worker earning $10 per/hr or immirgrant who sends up to 75 cents of his or her dollar back to their home country. We hear Democratic Presidential hopeful Barack Obama's lead economic advisor speaking of the desire to bring forth a "single world currency", in place of the US Dollar. Republican Presidential John McCain wants to lean more to "the collective will" of our democratic allies. Bill Clinton, the former US president and current man beside the other Democratic Presidential hopeful, stated "We just have to slow down our economy and cut back our greenhouse gas emissions 'cause we have to save the planet..." These are just the most visible treasonous personalities who seek to lead the greatest economic marvel since Rome into the abyss.
The reoccurring news of the degenerating US economy has become so regular that international economist seem to have their shovels ready to throw dirt over the corpse of America and feast on our decomposing flesh that they can't hardly stand themselves. They may be on the cusp of bringing down the one great obstacle it their total world dominance and the one continued example, over the last 200 plus years, how great and productive men can be when they are not ruled by the government.
It is not like there is not a solution to the condition that US and America finds itself economically. Ireland picked itself from generations of war to become what many call an "economic miracle". They did it by a tried and true practice of reducing the burden of government off the backs of it's citizens and business' with lower taxes and regulations. The Treasury Secretary, in a USA Today article, admitted that the high tax burden on businesses is driving them out of America. Also, in a recent ranking of prosperous countries, the US ranked 27th mainly due to the high tax burden, imbalanced trade policies, and out of control entitlements. Also, the head of the Government Accounting Office reported the US government is on a "Burning Platform" due to the mass unfetter influx of immigrants, and over stretched military overseas. I'd like to add another critical variable to our crisis is the lack of a progressive education system that rewards excellence and teaches students to succeed in the science, civics, mathematics, geography, history, comprehension is comparable to a farmer not using fertilizer, your harvest will become retarded lacking proper nutrition for healthy growth. America's ability to furnish the Allied forces and ourselves during both world wars was due to our massive manufacturing complex. What has made America a world dominate player, with the ability to impose crippling economic sanctions, was due to the fact that so much of the world goods had to go through us. What gave America it's ability to bring itself out of the depressions and recessions what the power of the central bank, nor the US government, but the fact that America had at its disposal it's own means of production and the creation of good paying jobs that produce skills for life, as well as the ability to supply it's people with what we needed. Does it make any sense that America is world's targeted consumer of goods, yet the US government is shipping all means of production of goods to distant lands to be imported back into the America at a higher cost to Americans?
The United States' economic mis-management and down right ill-management is due to financial ignorance, greed, deliberate thief, but mainly due to an American people being uneducated and too politically apathetic to understand that their economic prosperity, and that of their loved ones, is directly tied to the financial solvency of the corporate United States. America's ailing economic condition is symptomatic of years of US government retarded fiscal policies that sought the benefit of foreign interests first and that of the American people forth or fifth , behind that of their political party affiliation and their personal financial ambitions. The slightest mention by the Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton to revisit the heinous North American Free Trade Agreement [NAFTA] is quickly rebuffed by John McCain with concerns of Canada and Mexico possible reactions, rather than what is best for the American people and America. And while most of the several States have required balanced budgets, the federal government is allowed to spend money like a rich guy's trophy wife on a shopping spree at Tiffany's and Saks with his Platinum American Express Card. At the same time the federal government issues mandates, such as the No Child Left Behind and the Real ID Act, that are to be funded at the expense of the States. Thus, leaving the States to have to take money from other needed areas for it's citizens. Just as if one's household expenses outpace our take home pay, eventually bills will have to come due. We would have to cut back or eliminate non-necessities, put on our plates only what we can eat, start to buy things for what their worth rather than what we can pay for it. The US government has an unprecedented debt of greater than $3.2 Trillion. It pays more than $310 million a day to foreign creditors - Japan $586.9, Red China $492.6, United Kingdom $160.0, Brazil $141.7, Oil Exporters $140.9, & Caribbean Banking Centers $108.1 Billion [Department of the Treasury/Federal Reserve Board March 17, 2008]. It has an unsustainable trade debt of $24 Billion with Communist China, alone - followed distantly by Japan (approx. $16 Bill.), Canada (approx. $15 Bill.), Mexico (approx. $10 Bill.), and Germany (approx. $8 Bill.). It [the government] is allowing 40 Million plus low skilled and low educated foreigners, particularly from Mexico, who are adding a $400 Billion annual expense to US taxpayers. According to national priorities.org, the US military's police action in Iraq in costing approx. $341.4 Million per day [$1,721 per US person], alone. The UN sponsored conflict is forecasted to eventually cost more than a Trillion Dollars. And, coupled with the greatest expansion of the federal government since Lyndon Johnson's Administration, it is not hard to figure why the US is in such financial decay. All of these expenses are being paid by US IOUs to foreign governments, such as Communist China and Mexico that is going to have to be paid one way or another at the price of the future generations of America and the nation's prosperity.
It does not have to be this way. Only an educated citizenry can make educated decisions and only leaders who love and who's devoted to America and the people thereof can lead America to her best. We as Americans must start to demand more from the leaders of the United States if they are to lead us. The revocation of the 17th Amendment of the US Constitution - the amendment that allowed for the State's Senators to be elected at large, rather than by the State legislators - would return the voice of Americans and the states to the congressional debates. Demand an open, sincere, and comprehensive congressional discussion of a Fair Tax- like policy to encourage less consumption and more savings and investments in America and the US just as Ireland, Brazil, and Poland have done - put Americans back to work. If there are to be trade treaties, they must be rules applied not to bring the standards of nations down, but to bring that of others up, and be less socialistic in nature. Our leaders must abide by the strictest interpretation of the US Constitution, moral and ethical standards, and put America's needs and wellbeing before that of all others nations and other concerns. They must bring America's sons and daughters home from foreign lands, give them priority in jobs given to foreigners, and to protect us at home. A nation that is weak at home can not be strong away from it. We must demand that policy makers look at our nation's economic prosperity as not a political or party affiliation issue, but a national/American issue. It is at the end up to the Americans to demand for the America that we want. I relate to the words of Thomas Jefferson when he said, "Whenever people are well-informed they can be trusted with their own government."
Our nation's independence is all inclusive - financial, physical, political, materially, and militarily. It is what our freedom is based on - self sustenance. Many confusionists may try to confuse the issue and label it protectionism. But it is why so many risk life and limb to reach our shores. It is what so many have died to establish and protect. It is our identity, our birthrite. It is nationalism. It is freedom. Without it there is no America. Wendell Phillips, a politician of the 1800's, said it best in regards to financial independence, "Debt is the fatal disease of republics, the first thing and the mightiest to undermine governments and corrupt the people".

Post a CommentI disagree with your comments on Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. I agree with Clinton that
the automotive industry must start making hybrid cars and that US cars must stop relying
on corn oil to fuel our cars, which is doing nothing but helping to exacerbate the current
food crisis (and another tool to reinforce the obesity crisis/fat hysteria). I also agree with
Obama that a single-world currency would ease a lot of problems for the US but the
wealthy, the righteous and those that need to feel financially superior, a flux and alas,
this will never happen. I believe that gold is going to make a huge comeback in the future
and if I could afford to, I would start stocking up on it ASAP.

moving to the following countries: France, Italy, Argentina, Honduras, Switzerland, Spain, Mexico, Belize,
Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Germany, New Zealand and Portugal. Meanwhile, the powers that be are running
this country into the ground by spending our money on the War. Once the U.S. is broke, Israel will turn to
another country (or countries) to fuel the War and don't surprised if young African children, particularly
young boys are recruited as "a way out" of the bleak hopeless that is in many countries over there.
Also, if Iran decides to get involved and if North Korea continues to remain elusive over whether or not
they have nuclear weapons, this could very well lead to World War Three. None of this is set in stone
but it's up to Americans to take back our country and restore dignity. There's nothing wrong with looking
in the mirror but we must remember that it was decadence and ignorance that brought the fall of the
Roman Empire and America deserves bette
This article speaks volumes as to what's going on in this once great nation. In my own life, I'm now receiving
mail under the names Piper Smith and Piper Davenport. I have already admitted to my past mistakes
at helium.com under my essay, 'On Becoming an Activist.' But I have never used the name Piper Smith and
and now I'm starting to get really pissed at whoever's doing this and I think I know who it is.
However, now I'm finding that my political enemies are still trying to come after me using bs tactics. I've said
it once and I'll say it again: When we get to a point in this country when we are not allowed to criticize because
we are less than perfect or have made mistakes in the past (as humans do), we fail to look at the big picture,
which is what my political enemies want. They'd rather me worry about the past than about all of the fat hysteria
in this country.
I have also noticed that wealthy Americans are choosing to move out of the country and in the future
