Celeste St. John
Here are some examples of how to word your baby shower invitations:

1. You are cordially invited to celebrate the bringing forth of our child.

This is an invitation that does not use the word "baby."
It is also more formal than other Baby Shower invitations.

2. Come one and all to celebrate the coming birthday!
Please RSVP by __/__/__ @ this number (___) ___-____

This is a short invitation especially if you want to use as little card space as possible.
It has an RSVP for those who are catering or cooking food on a budget.
It is also a short invitation if you want to add your own personal touch.

3. This is your invitation to _____ ______'s Baby Shower.
He/She is anxious to see you before He/she sees you!

The baby is excited to see his/her visitors and invitees.
The blanks are to include the baby's name if the parents already know the sex and name of the baby

4. We are very excited to have you accompany us at the Baby Shower of ______ _______.

Again, this invitation includes blanks
for the parents who know the sex and name of the baby.

but I hear there's a party being given for me.
