Varuna and the Magic Vase of Vanquish

It was early morning and there was a knock at Varunas door. She made her way down the stars to the front door and opened it, and there was a delivery man, and he handed her a package, and wished her a good day.

So Varuna thought to herself I did not mail order any thing so she first opened the envelope to see who it came from but all the post card read was:

Today is your lucky day.
You have been selected to have 3 wishes granted to you.
For the package contains the one the only Vase of Vanquish.
For all of your wishes will vanquish all who are out to get you.
With each wish you will get an hour to try it out if you like it keep it for life, if not return it without losing your wish.
What could be better than the Vase of Vanquish, so open it up and get a wishing!!!!!

So without any time to lose she tore open the package, and there it was the most ornate turquoise and jade vase with gold leafing through out.

First Wish:

So Varuna thought to herself I know I will wish for the power to hear all that my, friends, and family are saying, at any time I want.

So she picks up the vase and holds on to the 2 handles closes her eyes and says, "Oh mighty Vase of Vanquish I wish for the power to hear every thing that my, friends, and family are saying." and then the vase gave a quick twitch fell out of Varunas hands and teetered on the table for a few seconds then came to rest upright.

Varuna thought to herself is that it, do I have the power, I must test it and see if it is true, so she said let me hear what my best friend is saying right now. And then as if out of no wear she could hear her friends voice and she was talking to a co-worker at the time and was saying, "Varuna has been driving me nuts, just wish that I have never met her, it always has to be her way or the highway, she is a total bobble headed witch, can you believe she called me last night as I was watching my favorite show on TV just to tell me that she was hungry and if I knew what she should eat, and when I told her that I would call her back that I was busy she got all bent out of shape and said fine I guess were not friends after all." Man I wish that was true, it would be a dream come true no more Varuna.

That made Varuna very upset, so she grabbed her phone and called her friend and, told her, not to worry any more that I will never call you during your show again or at any other time for that matter, that the bobbled headed witch will be out of your life forever.

Second Wish:

She picked up the vase held it by the handles again and wished, "Hearing is just half the fun but with sight that will bring me all the might, oh mighty Vase of Vanquish I wish for the power of sight, so I will have the power of both audio and video." With that the vase twitched out of her hand spun on the table and then set it self upright.

So to try it out she said let me take a look and hear what is going on at the office, and suddenly it was as if she was transported to the office she saw and heard all that was going on without the knowledge of others, and she stumbled upon her assistant, and she was walking around all pompous and saying. "Watch this I'm Varuna. You guys must be doing my work for me you know that you want me to look good, because if I don't look good it will not be good for you, Robert what are you doing? You did not ask my permission to get out of your seat I don't care how bad you need to go to the rest room hold it until after your shift, 6 hours is not that long. Next time you will know to ask my permission first, wont you!!!?" and then every one laughed.

So without any time to lose Varuna calls her assistant and firers her on the spot for insubordination.

This goes on for about the next 60mins or so.

And then it happened she has lost the control over her power, she was hearing and seeing everything of all the people she ever knew all at the same time so she runs over to the Vase of Vanquish and says take it back I don't want these powers any more but nothing happens she looks over at the clock and it has been 61mins since her last wish, the vase will not take the wishes back.

She is running around the whole room screaming no more, no more, make it stop!

Third Wish:

And then she spots the vase again and out of desperation she holds on to the handles and says. "Oh mighty Vase of Vanquish I wish that I can hear nor see no more!!!!" And with a twitch and a quiver it came to rest on the table.

Just about 60 seconds later she found herself in a soundproof room with thick white padded walls, floor, and ceiling with on doors or windows, no one else around just her and a post card, that read:

Rejoice and be Grateful
For you have Vanquished the one that was most out to get you.
And it is no one else but you yourself, so here you will sit, in a nice quite place without a view, for the rest of your days.

And all Varuna could say was:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
