Veal Ham W/ Cider and Fall Vegetables

Ingredients

10-15 pound veal ham

8 cups of apple cider

3 pounds of potatoes (cut into chunks I leave the skins on)

1 pound of carrots ( cut into 2 inch pieces wash but dont peel)

2 onions (cut into chunks)

4 stalks of celery (cut into 1 inch pieces)

1 winter squash (cube this I use butternut but acorn works as well)

salt

pepper

1 stick of real butter salted

Preheat oven to 350

In a large roaster pan

place ham

cider

now add all vegetables

cut butter into chunks and put on top

along with salt and pepper to your preference

I bake this all day about 6 hours at 350

then turn it down to 250 2 hours before serving

To serve

I slice the ham

and pile the vegetables around it
