While application of the product was relatively easy, I found that the cream really did not do what it was intended to do. After application you are to wait a total of 5 minutes then use the plastic, razor-less, razor they give you to test an area and check to see if the hair is being removed. If it is not, you are told to wait another 5 minutes (now a total of 10 minutes) and check again. You are to never go over the maximum of 10 minutes.
After waiting the 5 minutes I tested a small area and found that no hair had been removed. I then waited the full and maximum 10 minutes, began to "shave", and found that, still, the hair was not coming off. I must add that my legs were not hairy and had been shaved with a razor not 3 to 4 days prior to application. I was definitely frustrated. I continued to "shave" and remove all of the cream and, as instructed, washed off my legs with warm water.
My legs were not smooth. In fact, they were far from it. They felt exactly the same as they had before I used the cream but now with a new greasy feeling. While it did not burn at all during the wait I was very disappointed in the fact that it didn't do its intended job.
I did try this product again a few weeks later, just to see if maybe I had used the product wrong, read the directions very carefully, and was still presented with the same results. This was, again, extremely disappointing especially since it is a product that is supposed to save you the time and hassle of shaving with a razor. In actuality, it is much more work.
Shaving, in essence, is far more effective and efficient than using the Veet hair removal cream and unfortunately I cannot recommend this product to anyone.
