Woody Harrelson: The Beginning

Woody Harrelson was born July 23, 1961 in Midland, Texas. He actually grew up in Lebanon, Ohio. He attended college in Hanover College in Indiana where he received degrees in theater arts and English. He never actually graduated, but later received honorary degrees. After dropping out of college, he moved to New York to pursue his acting career.

Woody Harrelson: Vegan

Woody Harrelson is a vegan. On top of being vegan, he is actually a raw foodist as well. This means that he only eats raw and dried foods. He is said to be good friends with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Anthony Kiedis is vegan as well.

Woody Harrelson: Career

1985-1993-- Woody Harrelson played Woody Boyd in the long running television series, Cheers.

1991-- Woody Harrelson played Hank Gordon in the hit film Doc Hollywood, along side Michael J. Fox.

1992-- Woody Harrelson played Billy Hoyle in the comedy White Men Can't Jump, along side Wesley Snipes.

1993-- Woody Harrelson played David Murphy in the hit film Indecent Proposal, along side Robert Redford and Demi Moore.

1996-- Woody Harrelson played Roy Munson in the comedy Kingpin, which is a movie you will never forget if you have seen it.

2007-- Woody Harrelson played Carson Wells in the popular film No Country for Old Men, along side Tommy Lee Jones.

2007-- Woody Harrelson played Ezra Turner in the popular film Seven Pounds, along side Will Smith

This is just a glimpse into Woody Harrelson's life and film career. Among all of these great films that he starred in he made many cameos in television shows such as: Spin City, Ellen, Frasier, and Will and Grace.
