In addition to pizza and subs Scallywaggles also serves some vegan dinner plates, salads, desserts, and smoothies. This place is great for vegan's just because you don't have to question whether or not you can eat a certain item on the menu, everything is vegan! The restaurant received an award for being one of the "Best of Boston" in 2007 for their tantalizing fare. T.J. Scallywaggles is open from noon to 11pm Sunday through Thursday, and noon to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. The restaurant opens a little late on Tuesdays at 3pm.

All of their food is prepared using organically grown produce; their "Home Cooking" menu contains a lot of favorites. Try the "Veggie Pot Pie" with veggies and vegan gravy in a homemade pastry. Dinner is served daily from 4:30 until midnight.

Their main dishes include a variety of items including several noodle plate options, seitains, tofu, and seafood style root vegetables. Dessert options at Grasshopper include tasty vegan cheesecake with strawberry or blueberry topping.
