Jorja Fox states that she has been a vegetarian since she was nineteen. She states that she realized she wanted to be a vegetarian one day while eating a meatball sandwich in Brooklyn. She had vegetarian friends and bands that she liked were vegetarian, and she states it all 'came together' over that meatball hero in Brooklyn. She actively sought out PETA for support due to her previous teasing of others and wanted to be as educated as possible about her decision.
