Vegetarian Chili

Chili Rice

1 cup of rice long grain,3 cloves of garlic diced, 1 onion chopped, 1 16 oz. bag of pinto beans cooked, 3 tomatoes diced, 1 small can of green chilies or 2 to 3 fresh jalapenos chopped, salt and pepper to taste.

Brown rice in skillet on top of stove use 2 tbls. Of butter with 0 trans. Fat there is a new parkay butter with no trans. Fat, when rice is browned add 2 cups of hot water, add onions, garlic, tomatoes, chilies, add all this to your beans which are in a big bean pot , stir all together and simmer until onions are soft.
Serve with corn bread or crackers,
