Vehix's List of '5 Best Used Cars of the 2000s' - Subjective but Interesting

Whether You're Buying New or Used, Lists of Favorites Can Be Helpful

R.C. Johnson
Buying a used car makes economic sense for many buyers. But whether buying new or used, choosing a vehicle that will stand the test of time is difficult at best. Lists of "best used favorites" can help, but utilizing such a list isn't always easy because it can become dated and is not always user friendly.

Vehix writes many articles with "best of this and that" but in most cases does not show the date of the article on their website. This can lead to a bit of confusion (and irritation) when you try to access linked information that is no longer there. Vehix's list of "5 Best Used Cars of the 2000s" is an example of this.

Because this article does not show the publishing date, the best I can assume is that it was written sometime last spring, since the editor's note states that figures are accurate as of May, 2010. Vehix states that the cars they have chosen as the "5 best used cars of the 2000s" are the ones they consider being the "cream of the crop."

Besides dating the article, it would have been more user friendly if the Vehix writer had provided a list of the five cars within the article itself instead of making the reader click on each page to get that information. I have listed the 5 picks below from information given in the article.

That being said, there are some interesting details in the article about each of the cars that were picked by Vehix as their "5 best used cars for the 2000s," and the photo shots are excellent.
