Velvet Indeed!
DHC Velvet Skin Coat is a primer that you use before applying make up. This is a great product that keeps your foundation color even while controlling oiliness. It also helps your make up look fresh throughout the day.
DHC Velvet Skin Coat can also be used by itself. The gel gives my skin a healthy, even glow without making it appear oily. It also has a noticeable softening effect on your skin.
Application of this product is simple; you apply the colorless gel with your fingertips and give it a few seconds to set.
Shiny nose? No problem!
DHC Matte Cream is a great product to have on hand if you live in humid climates. I live in the Midwest and deal with humidity every day of the summer.
This cream absorbs excess oil and minimizes shine. You can use it under make up or alone.
DHC Matte Cream has made me forget about having a shiny nose. I no longer do mirror checks to see if I need to get out the powder. If you live in humid areas or have problems with oily skin, this would be a great product for you to try.
Guilty Little Splurges
I am usually quite frugal. I love DHC products so much that I let myself splurge a little when it comes to them. I bought DHC Matte Cream on sale for $19.50. It normally runs $28.00 a bottle.
DHC Velvet Skin Coat is not cheap either. I ordered a .52 ounce bottle for $20.00 and paid $5.00 in shipping.
Is it Worth It?
Since it is almost the end of summer, I probably won't buy any more DHC Matte Cream unless I see it on sale again. I will continue on purchasing DHC Velvet Skin Coat though, because I love how it makes my skin feel.
